MARK WHITHEAR
Managing Director
Mark’s background as a carpenter underpins his passion for the technical aspects of building. He’s been involved in the Canberra building industry since 1984 and founded Upmarket Homes in 1990. His extensive industry knowledge provides the solid foundation for the homes that we build.
HEATH WRIGHT
Supervisor/Foreman
Starting off as an apprentice carpenter to our group of experienced tradesmen 15 years ago, Heath quickly learnt his trade from the best in the industry. Heath’s solid background on complex building projects allows him to deliver projects of the highest quality.
SAM OLIVER
Contracts Manager
Sam completed a Bachelor of Building and Construction Management at the University of Canberra and is a licenced builder. He is an integral part of our tight knit construction team and has been instrumental in completing our homes on time with the highest level of compliance.
GRACE SANCATALDO
Contracts Admin
After participating in the ASBA program in years 11 & 12, Grace is now completing her Bachelor of Construction Management part-time. She has taken part in industry panels, and given speeches to trades men and women, and students entering the industry, promoting equality on site and women’s space in construction. Grace works closely with Sam to make sure our homes are completed in a timely fashion and fully compliant.
ALIX CHEAL
Office Manager
Alix keeps the office running smoothly. After starting her bookkeeping career in Brisbane, she moved to Canberra with her family. Alix loves seeing the different designs and features people choose for their new homes.
